INTRODUCTION After manufacture of cigarettes increased in the 19th century, the smoking habit increased rapidly worldwide. Therefore, smoking related diseases also increased. When developed countries realized the hazardous effects of smoking they started anti-smoking campaigns. Smoking habits and smoking-related diseases decreased in developed countries.
